Kathi Coston

Being a young mother with a small boy to support, Kathi stepped into the world of small business ownership with very little other than her belief in herself and her gift to be a great stylist. Kathi's enthusiasm, passion and interest in the salon industry have brought her  two chair operation to its current high end service salon today. Continuous education in all aspects of styling has nurtured her natural abilities and given her the tools to explore new and different ideas.

As an artistic perfectionist Kathi knows the importance of communicating with her clients to achieve a complimentary style or a perfect color. Her attention to detail through balance, facial shape, bone structure, personality and life style is instrumental in creating an eye catching hair style and a satisfied client base.

Kathi has maintained her commitment to her clients by attending the finest in color and cutting workshops. Through the years she has trained with great artistic teams from around the world. She has continually encouraged and inspired her staff to believe in themselves and to achieve the same higher levels in training to accommodate their growing client base. Kathi and her staff's energetic attitude and devotion to client satisfaction is reflected in the atmosphere and in the faces of happy patrons at Sunrise Hair Salon.

Jim Coston

Jim with his wife and partner Kathi, together have built Sunrise Hair Design to be a professional and satisfying experience.   

Sadie

After 10 years in the industry, 8 years at Sunrise Hair, Sadie has retained her enthusiasm for every aspect of hair -- coloring, placement, texturing, and cutting. She draws her inspiration from her continuing education to keep her abreast of a constantly changing industry. Sadie has attended many classes within Redken and Pureology as well as sessions with industry experts. Sadie feels communication is vital when creating the perfect look for her guests. She listens to her clients and uses her professional experience and tools, whether her guest is looking for maintenance hair care or a dramatic transformation.

Ambra

Ambra has been in the industry since 1997. She has spent the last 12 years at Sunrise Hair Design cutting, coloring and styling hair. Ambra has mastered the techniques of some of the finest and most well known names in the industry. She has been trained in the Redken, Pureology,CHI, and Framesi product lines. Her passsion and work ethic along with a dedication to furthering her education keeps her up to date on current styles, trends, and techniques. She feels education is the key. With the love of her craft and her clients Ambra has the ability to create the best personalized color and or cut for each individual. She loves what she does and it shows in the help she provides her clients in finding the best look and what makes them feel comfortable. Ambra always considers herself as part of a team.

Brooke

After completing her training in 2008 at Redken based The Salon Professional Academy of Tacoma, Brooke began her stylist career at Sunrise Hair Design. She brought with her a determination to be a well rounded stylist and a devotion to continuing her education. Recently Brooke has become a "Certified Hair Extensionist." Brooke is committed to creating a fabulous total look for her clients and will continue to try new and challenging classes to enhance and complement her skills.

Patty

Patty joined the Surnise Hair Design team in January 2011.  She attended the Salon Professional Academy of Tacoma and graduated with many awards.  With her ability to select the perfect retail products, her fresh visions work for all clients.  Patty also loves new color techniques and staying current with education gives her the ability to create updated looks for every lifestyle.

Andrea

Andrea completed her education at Redken based school The Salon Professional Academy in January 2011. Since Andrea has joined our team, she has worked at perfecting her skills by attending classes. She loves continuing her education, so she can stay up to date with any style her clients may want. Andrea's work ethic shows her passion for this industry, and whether it be cutting, coloring, or an updo style Andrea always makes it her goal for her clients to leave the salon with exactly what they came in for.
